ANIMAL CARE STAFF - Large Carnivores
This position is responsible for the basic animal care of the large carnivores (Big Cats) at the main Dallas, TX facility, and ensuring the daily husbandry and training of the animals in their charge, as well as exhibit and facilities maintenance. There will be a strong emphasis and institutional focus on operant conditioning and environmental enrichment for the animals. Associates degree in one of the life sciences is preferred, with at least three years experience of recognized expertise with a species or class of animals. Experience with felids and or large hoof stock preferred. Any combination of experience and education may be qualifying.
